DS2415+ is powered by a quad-core CPU running at 2.4 GHz. Combined with
2GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 6GB), it delivers blazing-fast performance
over 451 MB/s reading and 415 MB/s writing.1 That much power makes it
easy for DS2415+ to multitask and provide consistently high throughput to
all connected clients.

Fast encrypted data transmission with AES-NI
Encrypting data is essential to a healthy security policy. Equipped with
a dedicated hardware encryption engine, DS2415+ is the ideal digital
locker for sensitive data; files and folders are encrypted on the fly
without any perceived performance loss. DS2415+ delivers encrypted data
transmission speeds over 450 MB/s reading and 198 MB/s writing.

Robust scalability up to 24 drives
As your data storage needs grow, DS2415+ can be connected to a dedicated
DX1215 expansion unit2 for additional storage on the fly, growing
capacity with minimal effort. With a DX1215 connected through a cable
with specially-designed locking connectors, raw capacity can be as high
as 240TB3.

Quad LAN ports for failover and Link Aggregation support
Equipped with four RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports featuring failover and

VMware vSphere® & VAAI integration, DS2415+ helps offload specific

environments. Windows ODX support speeds up data manipulation as the data
transfer is offloaded. iSCSI also lets SMB users consolidate storage into

With the support of Windows AD, LDAP, and Domain Trust, DS2415+ enables
seamless account integration. The User Home feature can automatically
create a "home" folder for every user account to minimize the
administrator's effort in repeatedly creating "home" folders for all

tune access controls and set up privileges to files and folders on
DS2415+ through the familiar Windows user interface. With compatibility

cloud storage services. With block-level incremental backup and cross-

security holes. Security Advisor analyzes system settings, password
strength, network preferences and removes any possible malware. AppArmor
